Teacher of the Year Pep Rally

Hannah's 5th grade teacher was named Teacher of the Year for her school so we got to attend the Cobb County TOTY pep rally this week.

The pep rally is an annual event where the county recognizes all of the Teachers of the Year from the schools. Each school sends a few students to the event. People bring signs, pom poms, noisemakers and more to the rally. I volunteered to make the signs for Hannah's school.

Here is Hannah with some of her classmates holding their signs.

Hannah is holding her special sign. It's hard to tell, but there are lights around the edges. Poster making supplies have changed since I was a child!

Here is Hannah's teacher, in the center with the principal and classmates.

The kids had a fun time at the rally. The energy level was amazing! We are very proud of Hannah's teacher!
