Quick Trip to Indiana

Recently we went on a quick trip to Indiana. One of my friends from high school and college was getting married. I couldn't miss that!

We left on Friday around 5pm. James doesn't get home from school until 4:30 each day. His last class of the day is Math, not one I want him to miss, so we waited on him. We drove straight there with minimal stops and arrived at my parents' house at 2:15 in the morning.

All dressed up and ready to go!

The reception was at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. We arrived early, so we hung out in the lobby. Chris & James are looking at the map of Indianapolis.

Hannah felt very grown up drinking her Sprite in a fancy glass.

Appetizers

We enjoyed spending time with some good friends which we had not seen in about a year.

James and the son of our friends enjoyed Sprite with a splash of cherry juice.

Chris, Hannah, and I posing in front of the fountains at the IMA.

Silly kids

Hannah enjoyed dancing at the reception.

A picture of the girls with the bride. The bride and I met in high school. We worked at the Carmel Public Library together. Then we both attended Indiana University and she came over to my dorm every Friday night for dinner.

The happy couple! We are so happy for them.

Then the next day we drove back home. We left later than we had hoped and didn't get back until after 10pm.
