While my sister and her family were visiting, we celebrated August's first birthday. I made some basic vanilla cupcakes with butter cream frosting for the occasion.
I used an assortment of sprinkles to decorate the cupcakes.
Notice the cupcake and candle are away from the baby.
Big sister, Beatrix, blew out the candle for August. It all happened so quickly, I couldn't get a picture of Beatrix.
This was his very first cupcake ever!
Overall, a happy and messy birthday boy!
August celebrates his real birthday tomorrow back home. Happy 1st Birthday, August!
