Powder Springs Day

Saturday was Powder Springs Day. James walked with his Boy Scout troop in the parade. Chris drove a car with the Tapp mascot and teacher of the year. Hannah, Beatrix, August and I were parade spectators.

Here are Hannah, Beatrix and August posing with the Tapp Tiger before the parade began.

Here's the group of Tapp students with the school's teacher of the year.

Waiting for the parade to start.

While we were waiting, someone brought us balloons. There wasn't a very big turnout for the parade. That worked well for Beatrix and Hannah who collected a huge bag full of candy!

Here's the Tapp group. Chris is driving the car - it was a 2012 Camero.

Here the girls are peeking.

James was selling popcorn with his scout troop.

James, Chris, and Hannah went back downtown in the evening for the fireworks which were rescheduled from the 4th of July. Beatrix and August fell asleep and stayed at home with me.
