Cruise {Day 4 - Honduras}

I was out of town for a couple of days and then I was waiting for Hannah's pictures before I continued writing about our trip.

On the 4th morning of our cruise, we arrived at Mahogany Bay on Isla Roatan which is part of Honduras. For our excursion here, we chose the "Relax at the Beach plus Kayaking".

Our "package" for the day included 2 clam shell shelters with lounge chairs, 4 floats plus the kayaking.

We played in the water. The kids did a little snorkeling. We spent the day relaxing.

We found a little starfish that kept getting washed ashore. Some of his legs had been broken off.

Hannah & Tyler relocated him to a safe spot near these rocks where he was out of danger from getting stepped on.

Our kayaking was just a short 30 minute trip. I cannot find any pictures of us kayaking! I'm a scrapbooker, so I usually take pictures of everything!!! The guy who gave us our kayaks directed us to a dock a little ways out.

We got to see some live conchs.

Then we were invited to swim with a very large green sea turtle. Here's Hannah with Annie, the Sea Turtle.

Both kids and Annie.

It's hard to tell, but Chris (wearing the orange trunks) is actually riding on the sea turtle.

After kayaking, we "relaxed" some more.

There were a couple of restaurants on the island, so we took a break for a light lunch (why pay to eat a full meal when we would be back on the cruise ship and all that food in a little while!). The kids enjoyed having their pictures taken in the touristy photo spots.

When we were tired of being in the sun, we went back to the port and did some shopping. Sue photo bombed this picture of Tyler & Hannah!

Hannah bought this t-shirt that supported a Sea Turtle/Local Marine Park.

Back at the room, Hannah & I added to our door decorations.

The kids decided to go to the pool, so the adults decided to go to the "Adults Only" area on the ship. Here are Sue & Eric.

We ordered some grown up beverages.  Sue & I enjoyed trying the various daily drinks.

Chris & Eric trying to be cool!

We loved these lounge chairs. We were just posing for pictures, but there was a place where you could check out pillows to use on these chairs.

It was a bit windy out here.

We met up with the kids and saw the family friendly comedy show.

Then at dinner we spent some time on our napkin folding.

Our waiter, Raymond gave some tips to Hannah.

James and his napkin.

Raymond taught Hannah how to make a napkin candle.

And here is another towel creature.
