Chris & I just returned from an 8 day trip to England for my sister's wedding. We flew into London on a Saturday morning. We met up with my sister and her family in London for lunch, then we jumped on a train & went to our destination of Brighton, which is on the southern coast of Great Britain.
Bethany had arranged for Chris & me (and my father) to stay in a personal home that she found on Home Exchange.com . It was a historic townhouse on a cute street near the center of town.
This picture doesn't show the incline very well. Our house was at the top of a hill.
Here is our purple door.

The house was super cute! According to my research, the house was from the regency era which was in the 1810's. From our location, the grocery was about a 5 minute walk. There were a couple of pubs even closer than that. It took about 15 minutes to walk to attractions such as the Brighton Pier & the Royal Pavilion.
